It’s a sweet sixteen pages of Fleadh delight – and it’s out now! Read all about it! Your very own Iúr Cinn Fleadh Event Guide is on the streets of Newry. Pick up a copy when you go out for your takeaway or your tipple – or download it right now by clicking here.
The Fleadh committee have researched, written and edited the text, found the images, and commissioned graphic designer Johnny Savage to make it look good. The mystical giant fiddler rosin the bow over the waters of Newry was conceived and created by artist John Farrelly.
There are specially written goodwill messages from Cllr Michael Savage and Eamonn Connolly of Newry BID. The guide also offers potted biographies and descriptive snippets on many of the contributors and activities lined up for this year’s Fleadh – from The Sands to Seán Hillen, from Trad Cruise to Tony Walsh.
We think the whole thing looks great! We hope you do, too.
If you see any committee members hauling and heaving boxes of Event Guides around Newry, please offer a smile and take a copy. We’re thankful to all the shops, cafes, bars and other outlets who are kindly displaying posters and encouraging customers to take an Event Guide or two.
Pass the copies around!
